I have the book, Sams Teach Yourself HTML, CSS and JavaScript Web Publishing (7th edition). I registered the book but found NO SOURCE CODE on web. I wrote to the publisher, and replied there was no source code. Can you help me how to locate!

No, sorry. It is not that book. The book I have is “Sams Teach Yourself HTML, CSS and JavaScript Web Publishing (7th edition). Your site is for the book “Teach Yourself HTML5 in 24 hours” it is different!!!

Sorry. I don’t have the code samples for that book - you need to get them from InformIT. If they don’t have them, then they probably never were created beyond what is in the book files themselves.

I’m pleased to let you know that the book is now available for pre-order on Amazon: Sams Teach Yourself HTML5 Mobile Application Development in 24 Hours. Plus the Safari Rough Cuts version has all the chapters now. And if you buy the Rough Cuts version, I’m told you’ll be automatically converted to the final version when that is posted on Safari.

Right now, I’m working on editing the proofs, which is a hard part of the book writing process. It’s especially hard because something in the transfer process munged some of my chapter sub-heads. So I’m going through each chapter with a fine-toothed comb. Slow going.

After that’s done, I’ll be working on the videos for the extended eBook edition. I’m having a lot of fun with this.

I just posted Hour 11 to my editors last night. Today I start working on either video/audio or forms. I can’t decide which I want to tackle first. Hopefully soon I’ll have some information on the Safari Rough Cuts version of the chapters. So that anyone who wants to see them early can sign up.
