I’ve been playing with contenteditable all day today, and let me tell you it’s been fun.

I now have the workings of a simple HTML editor using contenteditable. Just type in your text in the left side, format it with the buttons and see the HTML on the right.

This editor is still in progress, but I was pleased by how its coming along, so I thought I’d share it with you.

If you’re wondering, this editor will be included in Hour 14 of the book.

I will be teaching a course ,“Mobile Application Programming” in the spring, using this book. Does anyone have a list of software needed to use this book effectively in a lab? I need to let my IT staff know ahead of time what needs to be downloaded and installed, so the lab can be ready to go by the end of January.

The first chapter should list the software you need. I may have put that in the preface too. I forget (and the book isn’t handy right now).
